The Theatre Awards is coming to the North-West!
For the very first time, the Tasmanian Theatre Awards 2026 are being held in the north-west of the state at the newly renovated and spectacular Burnie Arts Centre!
Proudly hosted by the Theatre Council of Tasmania (TCT), we guarantee you a night of true celebration, acknowledgement, and comradery. This will be a more traditional style awards event (think the 'Tonys') starting with a cocktail-style party in the foyer, prior to guests being seated in the theatre for the Award Ceremony.
There will be live music and entertainment provided by some of Tasmania's most talented theatre performers, not to mention our nominated category winners will be excitedly announced. This will be an event not to be missed.
